Who is it for…
We designed this course for past La Source Climbers who want to go further a-field, but everyone is welcome. It is suitable for anyone climbing indoor or outdoor French 5a’s and above.
Where…
A week-long lead and coaching camp held in the heart of one of France’s best rock climbing areas. Chateauvert is one of the most beautiful climbing venues in the Var region of France. In keeping with our philosophy we have selected this region and nearby town Correns as it was the first eco-or green village in France.
What…
With 200 routes to choose from, it’s a chance to kick start your climbing season with a week in the sun. The crag offers a wide range of routes, and is equally suitable for those with little outdoors experience, as for those with a fairly high level.
This will be a self-catering week. We are going to be staying in fab Provencal Gite close to the crag and the villages of Bargiols and Correns, so we can each take turns at trying to outdo each other in the kitchen or slope out into the nearby villages to taste the delights of French regional cooking.

Booking
The minimum number that we require for the course to function is 5, so don’t book your flights, firstly register you interest with us and we will let you know in good time when to hit the go button. There are 3 beginners to leading, and 3 coaching places left so register interest soon!
The Instructors
This course will be coached and designed by Duncan McCallum, founding director of EICA, Ratho, ex-professional climber & presenter of the BBC’s ‘The Adventure Show’ and Agniezka Warszawska, french qualified climbing instructor, International Mountain Leader and super-mama of 3.
