If you like climbing and yoga but want MORE from you holiday... this is the place to come. Under the careful watch of some of the best guides and climbing instructors in Europe  John Falkiner, legendary mountain legend, Agniezka Petit, Climbing Brevet D’Etat or Coach Duncan McCallum, ex-professional climber and Rock Guru, you will enjoy real progress on the rock and in the mind and body! See the people page for more info on our crew and climbing instructors and guides.

You’ll be staying in a sustainable, low energy renovated farm. The Sunday Times called it the best ‘eco-lodge’ in the Alps and it has been said that the food is better than in a 5* restaurant! Your hosts are TV presenter and ex-pro climber Duncan MCCallum and yogini and personal development coach, Saskia Anley. They invite you to La Source to share a week of fun and  adventure! There is white water rafting, hiking, mountain biking, parapenting, high ropes courses, via ferratta, and lake swimming on the doorstep.

On the last 2 courses we have been able to offer a guided 9 pitch multi-pitch route adventure in the Aosta Valley, Italy (E35 to cover travel and guides meals per person). We can’t promise that every course, but we do go out of our way to make your week exceptional!

Who is the Coaching Camp for? For people leading  from French grade 6a up to 7b

For people who are competent lead Climbers but want to push their climbing to a new level.

For people who want to explore classic multi-pitch routes

For people who want to learn about nutrition and training techniques

For people who want to improve their ‘head’!

For couples with one climber and one non-climber (as there is plenty for your partner to do)

For people who want a choice of reliable climbing partners for their week off

What will you learn?

This is not an instructed course but a coaching course

You will learn about nutrition, training techniques, and approach

You will coached in technique, grace and efficiency on the rock

This course, in combination with the yoga, also addresses mind awareness, flexibility and strength

And the yoga?

The yoga tends to be an integral part of the course, however it is an optional extra!

You can be a beginner or proficient yogi

Your mind will steady, your focus will be sharper

You will increase flexibility

You will improve your breathing and inner reserve

You will laugh, hike to some secret and very cool places and may be covered in leaves!

And what else can I expect?

To have a great time

Make some new friends

Meet nice and interesting people

Climb loads, eat well, get fit, feel healthy, improve your climbing, technique and efficiency on the rock

To learn more about yourself

Leave with a new found PRANA and energy!

This holiday will give you the confidence to know how to lead sport routes outdoors.

For booking please e-mail us with the dates you would like to come: info@sourcealps.com

The courses are hosted and designed by Duncan McCallum, founding director of EICA, Ratho, ex-professional climber & presenter of the BBC’s ‘The Adventure Show’ and Saskia McCallum, yoga teacher, ex-Outward Bound Instructor  and personal development coach. Due to French Regulations we employ a French Qualified Climbing guide for the climbing element of the camp and Duncan offers coaching.
